Little Cedars are a nursery who offer the individual attention that your child deserves.

Nutritional menu

Here at Little Cedars we have a variety of food on our nutritious menu, giving your child all of their five a day. Most of your child's five a day will come from their delicious snacks that they'll enjoy, with a choice of either milk or water. If you child has any allergies we'll try to avert those food items, so that everybody can enjoy the same foods all together.

Exploration

We support children’s growing understanding of the world and encourage children to investigate their world using all of their senses. The activities and resources in our nursery are real objects made from natural materials, which stimulate the senses, these materials allow children to explore without restriction.

Self-discovery

At Little Cedars Montessori children are encouraged to approach the world with curiosity and with a positive disposition to learn. We enable children to discover who they are, build confidence and independence. Children develop the skills and desire to think for themselves, to solve problems, to work with others, to communicate, and to gain an increasing understanding of the world and find their place in it.

Montessori Resources

Montessori resources are designed to encourage children to work independently and in their own time. The environment is laid out to ensure that children can access everything themselves. The resources are child sized items that are as closely linked to real life as possible, they allow them to master the tasks that they see going on around them in everyday life.

Hands-on experience

Children learn through play, observation and investigation, Little Cedars Montessori provide a variety of experiences and resourses that encourage open ended play and investigative skills, to help children build, work together, make connections, discoveries and problem solve.

Our staff are chosen for their warmth, passion and commitment. They are fully vetted and hold revelvent childcare qualifications to enable them to respond to your child's individual needs and support them through their learning journey with us. Each staff member is totally committed to the care, safety and wellbeing of your children, so your child shall get the best experience whilst with us.

Parent Partnership - Famly App

Here at Little Cedars Nursery we use the Famly App to keep you and your family updated. You will be able to receive pictures of your child, important notices, information about events, and much more. You will also be able to register if your child has the day off or is ill. You can send messages directly to us, this can either be a message to the management in the nursery, to your child's key person or to the staff in your child's room.

View your invoices - If you have been assigned as a Bill Payer or an Invoice Recipient, you will have access to the Balance tab when you log in to the app

The app enables the nursery staff to update your child's daily activities such as signing in and out times, nappy changes, sleep times, and meals. You can find all of this information on your child's activity feed, on their profile.
